Why is it when I'm drunk pubs refuse to serve me, but McDonalds will still serve the fatties?

Its a plant based product and isn't unhealthy in its form as spread or marge and if it didn't exist vegans would have to eat dry toast.

Also you can cook with butter so if you melted it in a pan then drank it you'd probably feel or be sick. Well you might not but the thought of it makes me want to chuck.

You could drink a pint of whole milk and feel suitably refreshed.

If you drank a pint of rapeseed oil you'd probably be violently ill.

Ergo one is healthier than the other.

Plus saturated fat isn't bad for you.

Would you drink milk?

Dont be daft but it is lower in saturated fat than butter so has a health benefit, and that is the main thing spreads and marges are made of.

Would you drink rapeseed oil out of a bottle?

Overweight people should be fitted with a microchip which gives them electric shocks if they don't do enough exercise. I'm sure the technology is there, step counters etc.

They are about the same, the composition of margarine and spreads have changed and are now made mostly with rapeseed oil.

In theory stuff like this is a great idea but when you consider that absolute bullshit like the healthy food plate and food pyramid were (and still are) promoted as "healthy", it'll probably be a disaster.

Example: the majority of the country still probably thinks margarine is healthier than butter.

"There are however lots of people out there who need a far more authoritative approach and close direction to take the 'right' path."

Out THERE???

Most of them seem to post on here and the majority of those congregate around one or two very specific thread subjects...

I loved Gyles Brandreth's outrage at the fact that he had been contacted with a view to becoming the new face of Stannah Starlift's adverts. :)

All advertising is targetted, i watch itv3 (love poirot etc), and am.quite seriously considering the advantages of over 50s life cover and the pleasures of an HSL chair 😀
